Nerve injury occurs because of an internal cascade of inflammatory and cell-death pathways proliferating in response to the trauma of surgery. Specialist surgeons work for hours to keep nerves anatomically intact yet these destructive molecular mechanisms of injury have previously been thought to be unavoidable, until now.

Our innovative gel technology silences all pathways of injury and inflammation simultaneously whilst acting as a protective dressing to limit ongoing exposure to destructive or irritative inflammatory molecules. We designed this solution to deliver precision therapies to exposed nerves during surgery. In the process we created a single-use platform which can be used across a broad range of environments in a way which minimises risk and maximises precision and user experience.
